Committed to Financial Education
CFSA member companies work with community-based groups to help address financial education needs in their communities. The following programs demonstrate how CFSA members support efforts to create financially savvy consumers.
Youth and Adult Financial Education
CFSA is committed to helping consumers of all ages develop good personal finance skills. By establishing strategic alliances with organizations such as the National Urban League, our members help deliver financial education and savings programs to youth through our Youth Learn and Save program.
In addition, CFSA members work with community organizations to provide volunteers the training they need to teach financial literacy in their communities. Through our Adult Volunteer Train-the-Trainer program, community volunteers learn how to use the FDIC’s Money Smart curriculum to teach adults how to better manage their personal finances.
